Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Sliders by Iramsfoodstory
Crispy double-dredged chicken sliders tossed in spicy hot honey glaze and served with cool ranch dressing.

Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless chicken breast
- 1.5 cup buttermilk
- 0.25 cup hot sauce
- 2 tbsp pickle juice
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.33 cup corn starch
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 cup butter
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 0.25 cup honey
- 12 slider buns
- 0.5 cup dill pickles
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Whisk wet batter ingredients in a bowl. Add chicken, submerge, and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Whisk dry batter ingredients in a separate bowl
- Remove chicken from marinade, dredge in dry batter, dip back into wet batter, then dredge in dry batter again, pressing firmly.
- Rest coated chicken on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F and fry chicken in batches for 6-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in glaze spices and honey, simmering for 1-2 minutes. Toss fried chicken in glaze.
- Whisk ranch ingredients together and chill for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush buns with melted butter and toast for 5-7 minutes.
- Assemble sliders with chicken, pickles, and ranch dressing.
