Seasoned ground beef served over shredded lettuce with pickles, melted cheese, and a signature tangy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 900g (2 lb) ground beef
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely diced
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 4 slices american cheese
  • 1/2 small white onion, finely diced

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles in a small bowl to create the burger sauce; set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it into small crumbles with a spatula for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  4. Reduce heat to low and place the American cheese slices over the beef, covering the pan for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  5. Divide the shredded lettuce into four meal prep containers
  6. Top the lettuce with the cheesy ground beef mixture and garnish with diced white onions and a drizzle of the prepared burger sauce
