Cinnamon Sugar Churro Chips by Hotspice Palette
Crispy fried flour tortilla triangles tossed in fragrant cinnamon sugar for a sweet, crunchy treat.

Ingredients
- 6 flour tortillas (8-inch)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Cut the flour tortillas into 8 even wedges each using a sharp knife or pizza cutter until ready to serve.
- Whisk the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl until well combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the tortilla wedges in small batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chips from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain briefly on paper towels over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Brush the warm chips lightly with melted butter, then toss immediately in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
