Hot Honey Beef Garlic Bread Sliders by Hopecrosby Eats

Tender shredded beef on buttery toasted garlic bread buns, finished with a spicy honey glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) beef chuck roast
  • 4 garlic bread rolls or buns
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season the beef roast with salt and pepper on all sides at 375°F until golden and cooked through, about 25 min.
  2. Slow cook the beef in a covered pot or slow cooker at 150°C (300°F) for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  3. Shred the beef using two forks, discarding any excess fat until ready to serve.
  4. Combine honey, chili flakes, and vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toast the garlic bread buns in a pan with butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous portion of shredded beef on the bottom bun, drizzling with the hot honey, and topping with the second half of the garlic bread until ready to serve.
