Ingredients
- 1 pack (approx. 200g) strawberry wafers
- 950ml (1 quart) vanilla ice cream, softened
- 950ml (1 quart) strawberry ice cream, softened
Instructions
- Line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- Break the strawberry wafers in half and arrange a single, tight layer across the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Spread the softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the wafers using a spatula, smoothing the surface, then freeze for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Spread the softened strawberry ice cream over the frozen vanilla layer and smooth the top.
- Press the remaining wafer halves into the top layer of strawberry ice cream, ensuring they are arranged in a pattern that allows for easy slicing later.
- Freeze the entire assembly for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely firm, before lifting out of the pan and slicing into squares.
