- 1 tbsp oil (for onions)
- 1 tsp salt (divided)
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 3 tsp garlic, minced (divided)

- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise or unsalted butter (for searing)
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with 0.5 tsp salt, pepper, and 2 tsp minced garlic, then shape into 4 thin patties, pressing an indent in the center of each.
- Heat oil in a pan over low heat and cook sliced onions for 35–45 minutes until soft and golden, then set aside.
- Combine 0.25 cup mayonnaise, Sriracha, 1 tsp minced garlic, lemon juice, and 0.25 tsp salt in a small bowl to make the sauce.
- Fry the beef patties in the same pan used for the onions over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, then rest for 1 minute.

- Seal the sandwich using an Uncrustable sealer or a large glass, trimming off the excess crusts.
- Spread mayonnaise or butter on the exterior of the sealed sandwiches and pan-fry over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and toasted.
