Traditional braided egg bread enriched with golden honey for a soft, slightly sweet crumb.

Ingredients
- 500g (4 cup) bread flour
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 egg yolk (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup neutral oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and honey in a large bowl and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, oil, and 2 eggs to the yeast mixture, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough, divide into three equal strands, and braid tightly.
- Place the braided loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 45 minutes.
- Brush the loaf with the reserved egg yolk and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes until deep golden brown and hollow sounding when tapped.
