Chewy knife-cut noodles tossed in a savory, aromatic chili oil sauce with a crisp finish.

Ingredients

  • 250g (9 oz) knife cut noodles (dried or fresh)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili oil crunch
  • 1 tbsp black vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions, typically 6-8 minutes until tender.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, chili oil crunch, black vinegar, and honey in a large mixing bowl over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
  3. Taste the sauce and adjust the balance of salt or sweetness as desired until ready to serve.
  4. Drain the cooked noodles thoroughly and add them directly into the mixing bowl with the sauce over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
  5. Toss the noodles vigorously until they are evenly coated in the chili crisp mixture and serve immediately.
