Juicy beef patty topped with succulent seared shrimp, melted cheese, and crisp vegetables on a bun.

Ingredients

  • 340g (12 oz) ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 brioche burger buns
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Form the ground beef into 2 equal patties and season both sides with steak seasoning.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  3. Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking, covering the pan to melt.
  4. Remove the patties from the pan and set aside to rest.
  5. Add butter to the same skillet and sauté the shrimp over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. Toast the burger buns in the skillet for 1 minute until golden.
  7. Assemble the burgers by layering the lettuce, tomato, beef patty, and seared shrimp on the buns.
