Crispy golden fries topped with succulent crab meat, tender shrimp, and a rich Old Bay cheddar sauce.

Serves: 4Prep: 15 minCook: 20 min

Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen french fries
  • 8 oz lump crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Bake or fry the french fries according to package directions until golden and crispy, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Sauté the shrimp in a pan over medium-high heat with a pinch of garlic powder for 3-4 minutes until opaque and cooked through, then set aside.
  3. Prepare the cheese sauce by melting butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat; whisk in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the cream, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Stir the Old Bay seasoning into the cheese sauce until well combined.
  6. Assemble the fries by placing them on a platter, topping with the cooked shrimp and lump crab meat, then drizzling generously with the warm Old Bay cheddar sauce.
