Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cup cooked white rice (for serving)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat salmon cubes dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt.
- Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon cubes in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce bubbles and thickens into a glaze coating the salmon.
- Remove from heat immediately to prevent burning the honey.
- Serve the salmon bites over a bed of warm white rice, drizzling any remaining glaze from the pan over the top.
