Taco Bell Style Crispy Tacos by Gidsgids

Crispy phyllo-wrapped beef tacos filled with seasoned ground meat and melted quesadilla cheese.

Ingredients
- 900g (2 lbs) ground beef (90/10)
- 2 packs taco seasoning
- 60ml (1/4 cup) water
- 20 sheets phyllo sheets
- 280g (2.5 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 250g (2 cup) quesadilla cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked, then drain the excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water, simmering for 3-5 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coats the meat.
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Brush a sheet of phyllo with melted butter, fold it in half, add a spoonful of beef and cheese, then roll tightly into a taco shape over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Place the rolls on the baking sheet and brush the tops with additional melted butter for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the phyllo is crisp and deep golden brown.
