Creamy Bang Bang Chicken by Genio Easy Recipes
Crispy fried chicken tossed in a creamy, spicy, and sweet sauce served over steamed rice.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup potato starch
- 1 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate chicken pieces with soy sauce, sake, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, pepper, and egg white for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook combine mayonnaise, thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lemon juice in a bowl for the sauce over medium heat.
- Cook coat the marinated chicken pieces evenly with potato starch over medium heat.
- Heat oil in a wok or deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain excess oil from the fried chicken
- Toss the fried chicken into the prepared sauce until well coated.
- Serve immediately with hot steamed rice
