Beef & Broccoli Fried Rice by Genio Easy Recipes

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chinese cooking wine
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 2 cup broccoli florets
- 4 cup day-old cooked rice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
- 1 tsp chili flakes, for garnish
- 1 cup fresh scallops, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, season the beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, Chinese cooking wine, baking soda, salt, pepper, cornstarch, and oil. Mix well and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add a little more oil to the wok if needed. Stir-fry the minced garlic and shallot until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 1 minute until slightly tender-crisp.
- Add the day-old cooked rice to the wok. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, sugar, and chili oil. Stir-fry the rice mixture vigorously over high heat for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
- Return the cooked beef to the wok with the rice and broccoli. Give everything a final mix to combine
- Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds, chili flakes, and fresh scallops if desired. Enjoy.
