Garlic Parm Dipped Cheeseburgers by Foodieholly

Juicy cheeseburgers dipped in a rich garlic parmesan butter sauce for an indulgent dinner.

Serves: 4Prep: 15 minCook: 15 min

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices American or provolone cheese
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 3/4-inch thick, pressing a slight indent in the center of each.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  3. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until a deep brown crust forms; place a slice of cheese on each patty in the last minute of cooking and cover with a lid to melt.
  4. While burgers cook, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  5. Remove garlic butter from heat and stir in grated Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes until a cohesive sauce forms.
  6. Dip each assembled cheeseburger patty (or the whole assembled burger) into the garlic Parmesan butter, spooning extra sauce over the top to coat generously.
  7. Toast buns cut-side down in the residual pan drippings for 1–2 minutes until golden, then assemble burgers and serve immediately.
