Hot Honey Chicken and Halloumi Flatbreads by Foodbyfranchi
Pan-seared chicken and halloumi served on warm flatbreads with a spicy, sweet hot honey glaze.

Ingredients
- 300g (10 oz) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 200g (7 oz) halloumi cheese, sliced into strips
- 2 large flatbreads
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and smoked paprika in a medium bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Add halloumi slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Whisk honey and chili flakes together in a small bowl while the proteins cook
- Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and halloumi in the pan, tossing for 1 minute until coated and glossy.
- Warm flatbreads in a clean pan or oven for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the flatbreads by topping each with the hot honey chicken and halloumi mixture.
