Spicy Garlic Chicken Legs made with chicken legs, cajun seasoning and freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 8-9 chicken legs
  • 3.5 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3.5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2.5 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup red sriracha

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken legs with Cajun seasoning and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Marinate for a minimum of 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or oven to 400°F (200°C). Air fry or bake the marinated chicken legs in batches (4-5 pieces at a time) for 15 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  3. While the chicken cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 20-30 seconds until the garlic is translucent and fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Stir in the red sriracha and red chili flakes, mixing well to combine with the garlic butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  5. Transfer the cooked chicken legs into the skillet with the sauce and toss thoroughly to coat each piece evenly. Serve immediately
