Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8 biscuits)
  • 1 tbsp butter, for the pan
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup prepared chicken Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and butter a baking pan with 1 tablespoon butter.
  2. Arrange the biscuits in the pan and bake for 10 minutes, until partially set but not fully cooked.
  3. Season the chopped chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and oregano, then cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Slice each half-baked biscuit horizontally without cutting all the way through, then spoon chicken Alfredo sauce into the centers.
  5. Top each biscuit with shredded cheese, transfer to a clean pan if needed, and broil on high for 30 to 45 seconds until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  6. Mix the melted butter with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt, then brush over the hot biscuits and finish with parsley.
