Valentine's Day Cookie Skillet by Findswithlily
Warm browned butter cookie skillet featuring a soft, chewy center packed with melted chocolate chips.

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup browned butter, cooled slightly
- 0.33 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 0.125 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small 6-inch cast-iron skillet.
- Whisk the cooled browned butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, whisking until well combined and creamy.
- Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in half of the chocolate chips, then transfer the dough into the prepared skillet, smoothing the top
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and sprinkles over the top of the dough.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set but still soft.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
