Serves: 6Prep: 10 minCook: 25 min
Ingredients
- 1 box (432g) strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (170g) white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and lightly grease a 20-23 cm (8-9 inch) oven-safe skillet or round baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and eggs. Mix with a spoon or spatula until just combined and no dry streaks remain, about 1-2 minutes.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Press the blondie batter evenly into the prepared skillet. You can sprinkle half of the heart sprinkles on top now, or reserve them for after baking.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (it should not be completely clean, as blondies are meant to be gooey).
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with the remaining heart sprinkles, if not added earlier. Let cool in the skillet for at least 15 minutes before serving warm.
- Serve directly from the skillet, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
