Ingredients

- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk the cooled brown butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and combined.
- Add the room temperature egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, whisking until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix the dough.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
