Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast or thighs, sliced into strips
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp zeera (cumin) powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp chili powder (or cayenne for heat)
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Combine the oil, garlic paste, cumin powder, paprika, chili powder, and salt in a bowl to create the marinade until ready to serve.
- Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken strips to the pan in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan until ready to serve.
- Sear the chicken for 6–8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the edges are golden brown and the meat is cooked through.
