Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast or thighs, sliced into strips
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp zeera (cumin) powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder (or cayenne for heat)
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine the oil, garlic paste, cumin powder, paprika, chili powder, and salt in a bowl to create the marinade until ready to serve.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the bowl and toss thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated.
  3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken strips to the pan in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan until ready to serve.
  5. Sear the chicken for 6–8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the edges are golden brown and the meat is cooked through.
