Pesto and Turkey Neapolitan Pizza by Farshad Gordi
Crisp Neapolitan pizza base topped with vibrant basil pesto, tender turkey, and creamy burrata cheese.

Ingredients
- 2 pizza dough balls (250g each)
- 1/2 cup basil pesto
- 150g cooked turkey breast, sliced
- 2 burrata cheese balls
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven with a pizza stone inside to its highest setting, typically 250°C (500°F), for at least 30 minutes.
- Dust a clean surface with flour and gently stretch each dough ball into a 10-12 inch circle, maintaining the airy rim until ready to serve.
- Spread 1/4 cup of pesto evenly over each dough base, leaving 1 inch at the edges for the crust until ready to serve.
- Arrange the sliced turkey over the pesto layer until ready to serve.
- Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone and bake for 6-8 minutes until the crust is charred and bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, place one burrata ball in the center of each pizza, and drizzle with olive oil before serving at 375°F until golden and cooked through, about 25 min.
