Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/8 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3/4 cup neutral oil (such as grapeseed or avocado oil)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly cracked
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, white miso paste, honey, and lemon juice in a medium mixing bowl until ready to serve.
  2. Whisk the mixture vigorously until the miso paste is fully dissolved and the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the oil while continuing to whisk constantly to emulsify the dressing until smooth and thickened.
  4. Season with kosher salt and black pepper to taste, then stir in the sesame seeds before serving until ready to serve.
