Crisp romaine lettuce tossed with savory seared ground beef, tangy pickles, and a creamy burger-inspired dressing.

Ingredients
- 250g (9 oz) ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked and slightly crispy.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl to create the burger sauce over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
- Place the chopped romaine lettuce in a large mixing bowl until ready to serve.
- Top the lettuce with the cooked beef, diced pickles, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese until ready to serve.
- Drizzle the prepared burger sauce over the salad and toss well to combine before serving over medium heat until heated through, about 5 min.
