Crispy, golden-fried cheese strips served with a tangy, garlic-infused mayonnaise and ketchup dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 pack (approx. 225g/8 oz) queso de freir (frying cheese)
- 2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise (for dipping sauce)
- 1 tbsp ketchup (for dipping sauce)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (for dipping sauce)
Instructions
- Cut the Queso de Freir into thick, uniform strips lengthwise.
- Pat the cheese strips thoroughly with paper towels to remove moisture and prevent oil splattering.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C), or until bubbles form around a wooden spoon handle.
- Fry the cheese strips in batches for 30-60 seconds per side until they are golden brown.
- Remove the cheese from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth.
- Serve the warm, crispy cheese immediately with the prepared dipping sauce.
