Smoky Tandoori Air Fryer Lamb Chops by Eatmeerecipes
Tender lamb chops marinated in warming spices and yogurt, finished with a traditional charcoal-smoked infusion.

Ingredients
- 800g lamb chops
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 0.5 tsp cumin powder
- 0.25 tsp turmeric powder
- 0.25 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp dried mint
- 2 tbsp kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tbsp oil
- 0.25 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp oil (for pan)
- 1.5 red onions, sliced
- 2 red chilies, slit
- 2 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 piece of charcoal
- 3 tsp melted butter, divided
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 tsp chaat masala
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from lamb chops.
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and coat the chops thoroughly; marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 22 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add sliced onions, chilies, and garlic; sauté for 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the air-fried chops to the pan and toss for 2-3 minutes to combine flavors.
- Place a small bowl in the center of the pan, add the heated charcoal, pour 1 tsp melted butter over it, and immediately cover the pan for 5 minutes to infuse smoke.
- Remove the coal, garnish with fresh coriander, extra melted butter, a squeeze of lemon, and a sprinkle of chaat masala.
