Crispy Chicken Tikka Wraps by Dont Go Bacon My Heart
Crispy buttermilk-marinated chicken tenders coated in aromatic tikka spices, served in a warm flour tortilla wrap.

Ingredients
- 500g (1.1 lb) chicken tenders
- 250ml (1 cup) buttermilk
- 3 tbsp tikka spice blend (divided)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 150g (1.25 cup) all-purpose flour
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 tbsp mango chutney
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced into strips
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 100g (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp tikka paste
Instructions
- Whisk together buttermilk, 1.5 tablespoons of tikka spices, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl, then add the chicken tenders and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Combine the flour and the remaining 1.5 tablespoons of tikka spices in a shallow dish.
- Dredge each marinated chicken tender in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 180°C (350°F) and fry the tenders for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and crunchy.
- Mix the mayonnaise and tikka paste together in a small bowl to create the tikka mayo
- Warm the flour tortillas, then spread mango chutney on each one.
- Layer the lettuce, cucumber, red onion, and crispy chicken tenders onto the tortillas.
- Drizzle the prepared tikka mayo over the top, roll up tightly, and serve immediately.
