Tender pan-seared chicken breast seasoned with aromatic herbs and a light, golden-brown crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 200g each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure a better sear
  2. Combine the oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden brown.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
