5-Ingredient Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Brownies by Denisbiserov

Dense, fudgy banana brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter, made entirely without refined sugar.

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 150g (3/4 cup) creamy peanut butter
  • 30g (1/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder (optional for lift)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth and mostly free of large lumps.
  3. Whisk in the eggs and peanut butter until the mixture is uniform and creamy.
  4. Sift the cocoa powder (and baking powder if using) into the bowl and fold gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula until ready to serve.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing to ensure they set properly.
