Garlic Parmesan Steak Croquette Bread by Delicatekiitchen
Crispy croquette-style bread loaded with seasoned steak, garlic butter, and parmesan.

Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 large baguette or ciabatta loaf, halved lengthwise
- 80g (¾ cup) grated parmesan cheese
- 120g (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for spreading)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Season sliced steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes until browned but slightly pink inside; set aside.
- In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant; stir in parsley and remove from heat.
- Spread mayonnaise (if using) over the cut sides of the bread, then brush generously with the garlic butter.
- Layer the seared steak slices evenly over both bread halves.
- Top with shredded mozzarella, then finish with an even layer of grated parmesan.
- Bake on the prepared sheet for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, then broil for 2–3 minutes until golden and edges are crisp.
- Remove from oven, slice into portions, and serve immediately.
