Tender roasted chicken pieces coated in a savory, caramelized honey-oyster glaze with roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 800g (1.75 lb) chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and oil until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken, bell peppers, and red onion on a large sheet pan until ready to serve.
  4. Pour the glaze over the chicken and vegetables, tossing thoroughly to ensure everything is evenly coated until ready to serve.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
