Slow-Roasted Beef Tips with Onion Gravy by Deandrehall

Tender beef tips roasted in a savory onion broth and finished with a rich, thickened gravy.

Ingredients
- 900g (2 lb) beef tips, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 packet (approx 30g) lipton onion soup mix
- 950ml (4 cup) beef broth
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (for gravy)
- 1 tsp seasoning of choice (e.g., black pepper, garlic powder)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 205°C (400°F) if using an aluminum pan, or 175°C (350°F) for other bakeware.
- Place the beef tips into the pan and sprinkle the Lipton Onion soup mix evenly over the meat
- Pour the 4 cups of beef broth over the beef tips until submerged.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast for 2 hours and 30 minutes, or until the beef is fork-tender.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- Whisk the flour into a portion of the hot pan drippings in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring for 3-5 minutes until the gravy thickens to your preference.
- Season the gravy with your preferred spices and pour over the beef tips before serving.
