Turkey Provolone Sourdough Melt by Cristiiicarrillo
Crispy toasted sourdough sandwich layered with savory turkey, melted provolone, and fresh garden vegetables.

Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 200g (7 oz) deli turkey breast, thinly sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 4 leaves romaine lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
Instructions
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two bread slices, butter-side down, in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Layer each slice with two pieces of provolone cheese and half the turkey, cooking for 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown and cheese begins to melt.
- Remove from heat and spread mayonnaise and mustard on the un-toasted sides of the remaining bread slices.
- Top the sandwiches with lettuce and tomato slices, then close with the reserved bread slices.
- Slice in half and serve immediately while warm.
