Deli-Style Sandwich by Cristiiicarrillo
Hearty deli-style sandwich layered with fresh greens, sliced meats, and melted cheese on toasted bread.

Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough or hearty sandwich bread
- 3 slices deli turkey or ham
- 1 slice provolone or cheddar cheese
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp butter (for toasting)
Instructions
- Spread butter on the outer sides of each bread slice and toast in a pan over medium heat for 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the toasted bread slices.
- Layer the meat and cheese on one slice of bread, followed by the tomato and lettuce.
- Close the sandwich and press down lightly before slicing in half to serve.
