Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta by Cristiiicarrillo

Al dente pasta tossed in a silky garlic-infused parmesan cream sauce with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 450g (1 lb) fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  2. While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Whisk in the grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  6. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water, and add the noodles directly to the skillet.
  7. Toss the pasta in the sauce for 1-2 minutes, adding reserved water if needed to adjust consistency, then season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
