Ingredients

  • 2 cans (approx. 13.8 oz each) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 8 pieces mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 box (16 oz) penne pasta
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (divided)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose savory seasoning blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the penne pasta in boiling water for 10 minutes until al dente, drain, then mix with cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread one can of pizza dough onto the prepared pan and arrange mozzarella cheese sticks around the perimeter, folding the dough edges over to seal them.
  4. Spread the pasta mixture into the center of the dough and sprinkle with 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Lay the second can of pizza dough over the pasta layer, pressing edges firmly to seal the pizza.
  6. Mix the melted butter and parsley, brushing it over the top edges of the crust
  7. Spread the pizza sauce over the top dough layer, sprinkle with seasoning, remaining 2 cups of mozzarella, and pepperoni slices.
  8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly; let cool slightly before slicing.
