Savory seafood boil inspired ramen featuring butter-poached shrimp, sliced sausage, and sauce-injected hard-boiled eggs.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 sausage, sliced
  • 3 packs ramen noodles
  • 2 ears frozen corn on the cob
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water (for corn boil)
  • 1 cup reserved noodle water
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter (for corn boil)
  • 8 tbsp (1 stick) butter (for sauce/cooking)
  • 4 tbsp mofo delicious seasoning
  • 3 packets ramen noodle seasoning packets
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs in water for 10 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath, peel, and set aside.
  2. Boil 2 cups water, 1 cup milk, 1 stick butter, and 1 tsp salt in a pot, add corn, and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Fry sliced sausage in 4 tbsp butter in a pan until cooked, remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté shrimp in the same pan until pink and opaque, then remove and set aside.
  5. Melt 1 stick of butter in the pan, stir in Mofo seasoning and ramen packets, and simmer.
  6. Boil ramen noodles for 10 minutes, reserve 1 cup of cooking water, and drain noodles.
  7. Whisk the reserved cup of noodle water into the butter-seasoning sauce and simmer on low heat.
  8. Fill a food injector with the sauce and inject the peeled eggs until full.
  9. Toss the drained noodles into the sauce, then serve topped with sausage, shrimp, corn, and the injected eggs.
