Ingredients

  • 113g (1 stick) herb butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Place the softened herb butter into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, paprika, thyme, black pepper, cayenne, red pepper flakes, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Stir all ingredients with a spatula or fork for 1-2 minutes until completely uniform and creamy.
  4. Taste the butter and add extra salt or spice if desired.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl for immediate use, or roll into a log using plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes to firm up for slicing.
