7-Up Lemon Pound Cake by Cowboychrisdorrah

Ingredients
- 1 box (approx. 15.25 oz) lemon cake mix
- 1 packet (3.4 oz) instant lemon pudding mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup up soda
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cup powdered sugar (for the glaze)
- 2 tbsp lime juice (for the glaze)
- 2 tbsp up soda (for the glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the lemon cake mix, lemon pudding mix, eggs, melted butter, and 1 cup of 7-Up in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
- Thoroughly grease a pound cake pan with butter spray, using a brush to ensure all corners are coated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and tap the sides to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar, lime juice, and 2 tablespoons of 7-Up in a bowl until thick and smooth.
- Invert the cooled cake onto a serving plate and drizzle the glaze over the top.
