Crispy fried chicken wings tossed in a sweet and savory honey garlic ranch butter glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken wings, split
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 500 ml vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken wings dry, then toss in a bowl with 2 tbsp ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, mustard, and cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  3. Fry wings in batches for 10–14 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  4. Prepare the sauce by melting butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; stir in honey, garlic, 1 tbsp ranch seasoning, parsley, hot sauce, and chicken broth until combined.
  5. Drain the fried wings on paper towels, then transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  6. Pour the honey garlic ranch sauce over the wings and toss thoroughly to coat before serving.
