Ingredients

  • 2 tubes (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan or large round baking dish.
  2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and arrange the pieces evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook for 3-5 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the arranged cinnamon roll pieces.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Whisk together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and the icing packets included with the cinnamon rolls in a small bowl until smooth.
  7. Invert the cake onto a serving platter, drizzle with the prepared icing, and dust with cinnamon sugar before serving.
