Easiest GF Orange Almond Loaf with whole orange honey and milk finished with fresh herbs and citrus.

Ingredients
- 1 whole orange, quartered, seeds removed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 1/2 cups almond meal
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- to taste icing sugar for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the quartered orange (seeds removed) into a blender. Blitz until completely smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
- Add the honey, milk, oil, eggs, and baking powder to the blender with the orange.
- Blend again until all ingredients are fully combined, about another 30 seconds.
- Pour the wet mixture from the blender into a large bowl. Add the almond meal and fold it in gently with a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter evenly into a lined loaf tin (approx. 9x5 inch or similar size).
- Sprinkle the slivered almonds evenly over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool completely in the tin before attempting to remove it. This prevents it from breaking.
- Optional: Dust with icing sugar just before slicing and serving for an extra touch.
