Baked Vanilla Yogurt by Christiannanutritionist

Creamy set vanilla custard-style yogurt dessert with high protein and simple sweet toppings.

Ingredients

  • 170 g Greek yogurt (full-fat, such as Fage Total 5%)
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp honey, plus more for serving
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 2-3 tbsp berries, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C and place a small ovenproof dish inside a larger baking dish.
  2. Whisk the Greek yogurt, eggs, cornflour, honey, and vanilla paste in the small dish until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour warm water into the larger dish until it comes halfway up the sides of the smaller dish.
  4. Bake in the middle of the oven for 25-27 minutes, until risen and the center is still slightly wobbly but just set.
  5. Remove the dish from the water bath and let it cool to room temperature, about 20-30 minutes.
  6. Top with extra honey and berries, then serve chilled or at room temperature.
