Baked Chicken Parmesan Pasta by Chloegebacz

Tender chicken and pasta baked in a rich marinara sauce with melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 450g (1 lb) penne or rigatoni pasta
- 500g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 700g (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 200g (2 cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 50g (1/2 cup) parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir the marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper into the skillet with the chicken, simmering for 2 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta and chicken-sauce mixture in a large baking dish until ready to serve.
- Top evenly with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese until ready to serve.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
