Comforting Telur Masak Kicap by Chellemakesfood
Crispy fried eggs glazed in a savory sweet soy sauce reduction with garlic and green onions.

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 3 green onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp chili oil
Instructions
- Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Crack eggs into the hot oil and fry until the edges are crispy and golden, about 2 minutes; remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the same pan, then add minced garlic and sliced green onions, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, and water, stirring to create a thin glaze.
- Return the fried eggs to the pan, coating them thoroughly in the sauce for 30 seconds.
- Transfer to a plate and drizzle with chili oil before serving.
