Tuna Medallion Habanero Mango Salsa by Carlosrogz

Quick and flavorful tuna medallions served with a vibrant habanero mango salsa.

Ingredients
- 8 oz tuna medallion
- 1 mango
- 2 chiles habaneros
- 3 limes
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp (adjust to taste) salt
Instructions
- Dice the mango, finely mince the habanero peppers (remove seeds for less heat), and mince the garlic and red onion.
- Juice two of the limes into a bowl, add the diced mango, minced habaneros, minced garlic, minced red onion, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to create the salsa
- Season the tuna medallion generously with salt.
- Sear the tuna medallion in a hot, lightly oiled pan for approximately 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
- Rest the tuna for 1 minute, then slice.
- Serve the sliced tuna medallion topped with the habanero mango salsa and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Squeeze the remaining lime over the dish if desired.
