Creamy Molten Chocolate Cake by Carlosbernalchef
Rich, decadent chocolate cake with a molten, velvety interior and a delicate hint of orange.

Ingredients
- 250g dark chocolate
- 250g unsalted butter
- 200g granulated sugar
- 60g all-purpose flour
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp orange zest
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous, then set aside to cool slightly.
- Whisk the eggs, sugar, and salt in a large bowl using an electric mixer until they double in volume and become fluffy.
- Sift the flour and gently fold it into the egg mixture
- Incorporate the tempered chocolate and butter mixture into the batter.
- Fold in the orange zest using gentle, wrapping motions to maintain the airiness of the batter
- Pour the batter into a greased and parchment-lined cake mold.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F) until the edges are set but the center remains soft.
- Let the cake cool for 30 minutes before unmolding and serving while still slightly warm.
