Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.33 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and grated ginger to create the sauce
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer for 3-5 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  5. Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry, then stir into the skillet to thicken the glaze for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat once the sauce is glossy and coats the chicken evenly.
