Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 0.5 cup honey
- 0.33 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and grated ginger to create the sauce
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer for 3-5 minutes until it begins to thicken.
- Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry, then stir into the skillet to thicken the glaze for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat once the sauce is glossy and coats the chicken evenly.
