Vibrant, tangy alternative to pico de gallo featuring diced tomatillos, crisp onion, and fresh cilantro.

Ingredients
- 8 tomatillos, husked and diced
- 0.5 white onion, finely diced
- 0.5 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 serrano peppers, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 0.5 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Husk the tomatillos and rinse them thoroughly to remove the sticky film.
- Dice the tomatillos into uniform, small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Finely dice the white onion and add it to the bowl with the tomatillos.
- Mince the serrano peppers and chop the cilantro, then add both to the mixture.
- Pour in the fresh lime juice and sprinkle with kosher salt.
- Toss all ingredients together thoroughly and let rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
